1)  How long have you been in business?

Celebrations was founded in 2004.  Our company's founders, Tammy Corzine & Kim Strickler have been in the wedding and special event industry since 1990.  In 1996 this mother daughter team started their own home-based decorating business and in 2004 they purchased a retail party store that was closing.  In just a few short years, they managed to create the area’s leading party store.  Over the years, we have helped turn thousands of events into memorable Celebrations!

2)  How long will a helium balloon float?

A great deal of this depends on the size of the balloon as well as the material it's made from.  A standard 11" balloon will float from 12 to 16 hours.  A decorator grade 11" balloon will float from 20 to 24 hours.  However, our balloons are treated with a special product called Ultra Hi-Float to extend the float life of our balloons.  With this special treatment that same 11” balloon will float for one week or longer depending on environmental factors.   18" foil balloons will generally float for at least one week.

Now, smaller balloons such as 9" latex only have a float life around 6 hours, while larger balloons such as a giant 3’ latex can float for as long as a day or two without Ultra Hi-Float or as long as 6 months or more with Ultra Hi-Float.

But remember, just because a balloon can float for 12 to 16 hours doesn't mean you will like the way it looks in the same time frame.  As the balloon loses helium, it shrinks in size, becoming less attractive in the process.  This is why we use Ultra Hi-Float on every arrangement we send out.

3)  How much do your balloons cost?

How much things cost depend a great deal on what you're looking for, what type of event you're planning, location, set up times, etc.

Many specific items have a set price while other items may require an estimated total before we can figure out exactly how much it will cost.  In addition, there may be delivery or retrieval fees involved with your order, so it's important to have an idea of what you're looking for before we can truthfully answer this question.

4)  Do you deliver? Is there a charge for delivery?

Yes, we do offer delivery.  Most deliveries are subject to delivery fees and order minimums that are based on distances and delivery times.  We do deliver to many area schools and hospitals in addition to residences and banquet facilities.

5)  Can I get my decorations in the color combinations of my choice?

Absolutely!  Balloons are available in dozens of colors.  In addition, colors can be created through a technique known as double stuffing where balloons are placed inside of other balloons to create a more distinctive appearance. However, please note that double stuffing can slow down the inflation process by as much as 4 times the normal speed, so additional charges do apply for this service.

6) Do you only provide balloons and balloon décor?

No.  Balloons are our specialty, but we also provide non-balloon décor including backdrops, centerpieces, table décor and more.  Check out our portfolio to see examples of our work and options that are available.
